1. Sleep through it. Take whatever you need: melatonin, benedryl, a xanax, a shot, another, a few.
  2. Download meditation podcasts and have a playlist of them ready for your flight. Listen to your meditation podcasts with a cocktail in hand, just to cover your bases.
  3. Remind yourself that flying is safer than riding a train, and you are more likely to win the lottery than experience serious inflight trouble, and your odds of winning the lottery are terrible. (Sorry?)
  4. Take a physics course.
  5. Rinse, repeat.
